Hello Friends.

Luke was in surgery for 3 hours this morning, and we are now in recovery with him.  He is tired and a bit scared, so please continue to hold him in your prayers.  The amputation went smoothly, and they also inserted a port into his chest to allow for his chemo treatments to begin in a couple of weeks.  There is such a long road in front of us, but right now we are grateful for God's grace today and focused on getting through the weekend.

So many of you have reached out, and so many people are praying for Luke, words cannot express how much it means to us.  Thank you.

Our prayer is simple: God heal our boy. (James 5:14-16)

God bless!
James & Lu
(for Sam, Jay & Luke)

Thinking of Luke today and your family. What a brave young man. Thinking of his piano solo at Riv a few weeks back and the impact he is already having on so many people. Praying for healing and thankful to hear the surgery went well.

Isiah 41:10 has been our family prayer for a longtime. It brings us comfort. Our prayer is it will for you, too

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

May the peace of our Lord and savior wrap tightly around your hearts today.

In prayer for all of you.

Praying...how wide & long & high & deep is Christ's love.

"...that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:17-19‬
