Hello Friends,
Tomorrow is Monday, September 28th, and will likely mark the 1st of many days where Luke receives chemotherapy treatments. Luke has multiple appointments and tests scheduled for the morning, and then based on those results he will begin chemo in the afternoon. He is then scheduled for treatments once each day for the remainder of the week, so we anticipate being at DeVos until Friday. We have three specific prayer requests: 1) Laura has been sick all week, but she has felt better today. We're praying for her to be back to 100% tomorrow so she can be with Luke in the infusion center for the rest of the week. 2) For Sam and Jay, as they navigate busy schedules while Laura and I shuttle to and from Grand Rapids all week. 3) Lastly, of course, please pray that God would heal our boy. (James 5:14-16) Beyond this week, it looks as though Luke will have about one month of "outpatient" treatment, where he will be in Grand Rapids one day each week for bloodwork and chemo but not staying overnight. We cannot thank you enough for your prayers, encouragement, and help during this most challenging season. God bless! James & Lu (for Sam, Jay & Luke)

Hey Luke - I just want you to know I will be praying for you all day tomorrow as you enter into the beginning of your chemo-journey. I am going to ask God to grant you peace beyond understanding and full healing for your Mama to be able to be by your side all week!! I am praying the doctors are filled with wisdom and that God will give you constant reminders of His love for you and His constant presence every step of the way. 💛

Been praying for Luke for weeks now. Will keep going - praying for all of you to have the courage and strength to persevere this season. Of course, full healing and that you will be able to see the good that is surely going to come of this sooner, not later. God bless you Granger family!

Hi Luke (and family), you all have been on my mind and prayers. Continue to trust in the Lord, for we cannot lean on our own understanding. Praying for the doctors and as you start your treatments. We are all praying for you! (Jill, and the rest of the rehab team :) )
